The Basic PC Maintenance Plan is the standard package offered by SkilTech Computer Services. SkilTech's technicians will perform system optimizations every 90 days to ensure your system is running at its best. By providing regular maintenance, we can extend the life of your equipment and keep it running like new. We'll also remove the personal information stored within your computer's memory, to help protect you from things like identity theft. With this plan, you can avoid the expensive repair bills associated with other PC service companies.

The services that are regularly performed as part of the Basic PC Maintenance Plan include:

• Malware Removal and Repair
• Network Optimization and Troubleshooting
• File System Maintenance
• System File Optimization
• Temporary File Cleaning
• Installation of Microsoft Critical, Security, and Driver Updates
• Security Program Updates (Anti-Virus and Anti-Spyware)
• Standard Maintenance Tasks (Defragmentation, Scan Disk, System File Check, etc.)
• Registry Optimization and Repair
• Peripheral Set-up & Installation
• 30% discount on labor charges not covered under this plan
  

Basic PC Maintenance Plan subscribers receive free diagnostic of malfunctioning system hardware as part of their package. Our technicians will diagnose any hardware issues discovered during the course of regular maintenance and will outline the steps that need to be taken to remedy the problem. This plan does not cover the cost of any necessary hardware components required to perform the necessary repairs or upgrades, but subscribers will receive a 30% discount on labor.

Peripheral installations, like a new printer, webcam, or external hard drive, are included under the Basic Maintenance Plan, at no cost, at your next scheduled maintenance visit. Peripheral installation includes external upgrades only, and will be performed only on functional computer systems.
